Our customers rely on PDI's systems to automate key business processes such as retail automation, decision support, fuel management, workforce support, and financial reporting.Responsibilities* Provide financial software support and timely customer service* Review business transactions for assigned accounts, including A/P and A/R functions routine accounting activities for accuracy* Work with team leads to address any escalated client issues* Assist in completing moderately complex calculations, processing data in gallons as well * as dollars to calculate taxes, freight, changing daily costs, etc.* Review all reports and reconciliations for accuracy before customer's receipt* Prepare and process payroll and generates quarterly payroll tax reports* Review and analyze general ledger transactions and reports, sometimes working in concert with CPAs and auditors* Lead the Month End process including Inventory Review, Preview/ Record Cost of Sales, Recurring Entries, Record Fed Tax, Financial Statement Review and Distribution* Follow up on accounting/system issues that affect accounts to ensure proper reporting of financial data* Develop and maintain accounting specifications for system enhancements* Develop and maintain financial reporting and tracking toolsDesired Skills & Experience* Bachelors' degree in Accounting or equivalent experience* 4+ years' experience in customer service* 3+ years' experience in accounting; solid U.S. GAAP knowledge; software or service industry preferred* Superior communication skills, both written and verbal* Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsPDI's employee-oriented culture provides a supportive and dynamic work environment for high achievers.
