Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.2. Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts; conferring with the CEO, CFO and other executive members.3. Oversees the activities of the disbursement department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, treasury, payroll processing, fixed assets, and total payroll tax compliance.4. Review monthly-end closing process, financial statements, and other reports to ensure accuracy.5. Manage and oversee the entire process of sales tax, payroll, petty cash, fixed assets, and inventory.6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards including GAAP.7. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial management.8. Monitor and manage company cash flow, predicting future trends in cash flow.9. Implement and maintain internal control systems to protect company assets.10. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.11. Provide training and staff development to other members of the accounting team. Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:1. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is mandatory.3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the retail industry.4. Profound knowledge of GAAP and other financial regulations and risk management.Interested in hearing more?
