Job Description Job Description Overview Our client, a growing organization supported by NOW CFO, is seeking an permanent and full-time Experienced Staff Accountant to join their internal accounting team. This role will play a key part in day-to-day accounting operations, month-end close, and cross-functional collaboration, with exposure to revenue recognition and process improvement initiatives. Candidates applying to this role ideally will be local to Austin, TX. Responsibilities Own and manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable (AR/AP) processes Handle revenue recognition activities in accordance with company policies Prepare and maintain financial statements Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of account activity Process debits and credits accurately and in a timely manner Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis Partner cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and support audit requests Assist with process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures Must-Haves 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting Strong Excel skills Highly motivated and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Nice-to-Haves Experience within healthcare or pharmaceutical benefits Familiarity with NDC data Public accounting background CPA candidate or intent to pursue CPA ZR IND2
