Administrative Support Assistant (ASA) for Nutrition &Food
Services (NFS) for all facilities which comprise the CentralTexas
Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS). The AdministrativeSupport
Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Chief,NFS, but
can be assigned work by any supervisor within Nutrition andFood

special studies and analyzes complex problems of
manpower,equipment, space utilization, etc., which involves the
gathering andanalysis of statistical data, trend studies, and
personalobservation, and requires a background of administrative
work toeffectively analyze existing systems for improvements and/or
to makerecommendations for developing new ones.Collects supportive
data for all supervisors within NFS in matterspertaining to
disciplinary actions and grievance procedures.Coordinates the
issuance and delivery of all disciplinary actionsand counseling
letters. Establishes and maintains a system fortimely review and
follow-up of proposed disciplinary actions.Responsible for
establishing a system of performance review,coordinating with
supervisors issuance of performance plan, mid-yearprogress reviews,
promotion or reassignment summary ratings, and endof rating period
reviews. Reviews all performance plans completed bysupervisors for
accuracy in terms of proper technical completion.Submits
