With us, you’ll stay empowered to do your best work by creating astounding possibilities for local communities and beyond. /n A Day in the Life of the Construction Coordinator: /n /n - Performs pre-construction field inspection to ensure completion of make-ready and existing aerial facilities owned by various power, telephone and CATV companies. /n - Responsible for working with and managing contractors, preparing detailed work prints, writing Job Cost estimates, and creating a bill of materials (BOM) for aerial and underground projects. /n - Performs field review of upcoming projects to ensure accuracy and necessity of proposed field construction. /n - Performs field inspections against invoices to ensure accuracy, ensure Astound specifications are met, and material usage is correct. /n - Responsible for forecasting material needs and coordinating with Project Manager and Warehouse personnel. /n - Provides regular project status reports to the Project Manager and Community Liaison Manager. /n - Provides supervision and support to OSP Inspector. /n - Responsible for coordinating with others to ensure the completion of make-ready work of existing aerial facilities owned by various power, telephone, and CATV companies. /n - Responsible for the implementation of project contracts awarded by the Project Manager, preparing Notice to Proceed, and creating a bill of material for aerial and underground projects.
