Job Details Responsibilities - Oversee the design and production of 3D models and detailed drawings in SolidWorks for structural steel platforms, towers, stairs, skids, and foundations. Review and interpret customer specifications, integrating design requirements into comprehensive engineering plans. Lead a team of designers and engineers, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to company and industry standards. Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and cross-discipline teams to align project objectives. Manage detailed project scopes, schedules, and documentation throughout the full project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes, including AISC, ANSI, EIA/TIA, and AASHTO. Utilize advanced software such as RISA 3D, SolidWorks Simulation, tnxTower, Helicap, Lpile, and Mathcad to validate designs and optimize performance. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. 5 years of experience in detailed structural design, preferably in steel structures. Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (required). Texas PE License required; multi-state licensure preferred. In-depth knowledge of U.S. engineering codes, standards, and project management best practices. Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers. Excellent communication, coordination, and client-facing skills. Compensation - Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package available.
