With an experienced growing team and state-of the-art greenhouses, Revol Greens is paving the way to a more sustainable future.Job DescriptionSummary of Position:The Operations Manager has the overall control and movement of product throughout the greenhouse facility. The Operations Manager directly supervises the operations department to reach daily and weekly production goals. The Operations Manager communicates regularly with various departments to anticipate disruptions and adjust as needed. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:Oversee all operations department employeesLiaison with sales and team managers to build production planCommunicates strategy to Team ManagersDetermines operations labor needs to meet production goalsCoaches Team Managers to achieve goalsSets training standards and procedures based upon operations planDevelops team to ensure all standards are adhered toOversee performance, efficiency, and satisfaction of employeesMeasures productivity by analyzing performance data, activity, labor, and output reports based on RG standardSupport employee communication with the management teamWorks with facility management team to create budget and measure teams against the budgetAnalyze and improve organizational process and workflow, employee requirements, and facility layoutWork close with GM & HR team to set and implement policies, procedures, and systems to follow through with implementationUpdate Sales Team if there will be any shortages and deliver explanations Oversees the facility's warehouse team and function, including the outbound delivery schedule, internal inventory, and logistics Overall accountability ensuring all daily data is inputted and labor tracking is completeDevelops and implements work methods for the most efficient use of personnel and equipment, authorizes overtime and control costsEvaluates and recommends changes in methods and procedures in assigned area of responsibilityWork in conjunction with the Food Safety Manager to ensure quality control standardsNotify the Maintenance Manager of any equipment issues and try to coordinate solutions when equipment is downKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Strong leadership and mentorship skillsConfident and able to motivate othersKnowledge or Food Safety and OSHA regulationsAble to anticipate problems and provide quick solutionsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related major, or equivalent number of years of experience4 years of operations manager experience and experience supervising managers, preferably in a greenhouse or manufacturing facilityAdvanced experience using Microsoft Excel and TeamsFamiliar with ADPSupervisory:This role is responsible for directly supervising up to four Team Managers and the Warehouse SupervisorWork Environment:Greenhouse, 25%The temperatures in the greenhouse vary depending on the weather outsideClimate can range from hot and humid to cold depending on the location and time of yearPPE must be worn at all timesPackhouse, 25%The temperatures in the packhouse are between 34-38-- F to preserve product qualityPPE must be worn at all timesOffice, 50%Sitting at a desk and/or staring at a computer screen for extended periods of timePhysical Requirements:Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.Occasionally remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.Benefits:PTO & Holiday PayHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance $10,000 company paid Life Insurance PolicySTD & LTDEmployee Assistance Program401k plan with 4% company-match after 6 months of employment PI201648058
