Registered Nurse - Nurse Manager CLC Quality - Temple, Texas

The CLC Quality Team Nurse Manager (NM) demonstrates leadership in providing continuous readiness for accreditation and regulatory agency review and compliance; performance and quality measures; organizational policy review; and program monitors and actions. Duties include, but not limited to: Accountable for adhering to established policies, standards of care and standards of practice, and demonstrating leadership in improving health care quality. Contributes to an environment that promotes psychological safety. Manage processes related to survey readiness, IPEC monitors, SAIL data, EPRP data, tracers, chart reviews, and environment of care surveillance. Compile regulatory
data and communicate information to key stakeholders in a format that is conducive for utilization in decision making, strategic planning and performance improvement. Chair monthly meetings in support of deploying a systematic approach to readiness and integrating readiness activities in all areas. Round frequently with staff to work with frontline staff at the unit-level on accreditation readiness issues. Track, analyze, and trend regulatory action plans and monitor for sustainment of improvement. May participate in root cause analysis, peer review, Lean Six Sigma teams, EPRP monitors, and employee surveys. Work in collaboration with the Patient Safety, HRO, Risk Management, Infection Control and Utilization Management teams for tracers, chart reviews and QI initiatives. Troubleshoot issues related to quality of care and provide
real time feedback to leadership. Respond on site in real time as incidents occur to investigate and prepare follow-up reports during administrative hours; follow-up next administrative day on occurrences during non-administrative tours. Work independently as well as collaboratively with multiple disciplines and services. Facilitate group problem solving, along with previous experience leading and/or facilitating performance improvement projects, teams, and groups. Computer literacy and skill in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Willing to learn other analytic programs as needed. Must have excellent organizational, communication, writing, and time management skills. Demonstrate ability in data tracking, management, analysis, and feedback of results. Ability to make performance management and continuous readiness
decisions. Agility to accurately implement policies, regulations, standards of care and standards of practice. Function in a leadership role, to include but not limited to, supervisor, role model, and educator. Evaluate the performance of subordinates and provide support for their growth and development. Making recommendations for appointments, advancements or reassignments of subordinates. Hear and resolve complaints of subordinates and refer more serious complaints not resolved to higher level supervisors. Recommend and/or take disciplinary action where appropriate. Identify developmental and training needs of subordinates and provide or make provision for such development and training.

Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards
