This 38-bed telemetry monitored nursing unit provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients ranging in age from Adults to Geriatrics. The conditions that are within the scope of service for 8 North include but are not limited to the following: - Medical Oncology - High Dose Chemotherapy with Autologous Stem Cell Transplant - CAR T Cell Therapy - Administration of Chemotherapy, Biotherapy, and Monoclonal Antibodies - Surgical Oncology - Gynecologic Oncology - Administration of Radiation Therapy - Hematologic Disorders (Sickle Cell Crisis, Aplastic Anemia, Thalassemia, Thrombocytopenia) - Continuous Cardiac Monitoring (Telemetry) - Gynecologic Surgery QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program MAJOR - Nursing CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN) Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
