Baylor Scott & White Continuing Care Hospital Location: Temple, TXFull Time - Nights Long Term Acute Care: Vent Weaning, Pulmonary Disease, Cardiopulmonary Disease, Complex Wound Care, Neuromuscular Diseases, GI Disease, Postoperative Complications, Kidney Disease (including dialysis), Post-Trauma.For ICU 2-3 to 1 nurse, Med-Surg 4-5 to 1 nurse with support of non-licensed staff and unit clerkAverage length of stay for patients: 25 daysNumber of beds: 25 bedsWound care team24 hour respiratory therapy teamThe best of both worlds in one hospital unit-ICU (Ventilators; Drips; Procedures at bedside)/Med-Surg. The main tasks of the role involve evaluating patients, identifying nursing diagnoses, creating personalized care plans, and assessing patient responses.What You'll Do
    • You will utilize nursing judgement and reasoning to make precise health assessments, ensuring these assessments align with standard practices.
    • You will check nursing procedures. Use research to make changes.

        • We are looking for someone who has completed an established program in Nursing.
        • At least (2) two years in the field.
        • Registered Nurse License.
