*Key Responsibilities:*
* Lead, supervise, and coordinate the nursing team to provide high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care in the freestanding ER.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including state, federal, and accrediting agencies.
* Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource management to meet operational needs.
* Provide direct leadership in patient care delivery, collaborating with physicians, support staff, and administration.
* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and team cohesion.
* Manage quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction, and outcomes monitoring.
* Ensure proper training and orientation of new staff members.
* Participate in developing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
* Maintain budgetary oversight, ensuring effective use of resources and cost control.
* Handle conflict resolution, patient/family concerns, and operational challenges effectively.
* Stay current with advancements in ER nursing practice and healthcare technologies.

*Qualifications:*
* Registered Nurse (RN) with active state licensure.
* BSN required; MSN or advanced degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in emergency nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
* Strong knowledge of emergency care protocols, best practices, and regulatory standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a high-performing team.
* Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
* BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required (or ability to obtain).
