Job Title: Registered Nurse /n Location: Temple, TX /n Shift: Full
Time - Nights, (3) 12-hour shifts /n Department: Long-Term Acute
Care/ICU /n Long Term Acute Care: Vent Weaning, Pulmonary Disease,
Cardiopulmonary Disease, Complex Wound Care, Neuromuscular
Diseases, GI Disease, Postoperative Complications, Kidney Disease
(including dialysis), Post-Trauma. /n For ICU 2-3 to 1 nurse,
Med-Surg 4-5 to 1 nurse with support of non-licensed staff and unit
clerk /n Average length of stay for patients: 25 days /n Number of
beds: 25 beds /n Wound care team /n 24 hour respiratory therapy
team /n The best of both worlds in one hospital unit-ICU
(Ventilators; Drips; Procedures at bedside)/Med-Surg. Opportunity

Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional
practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment,
recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing
patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs
in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas
Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team
competencies. /n Essential Functions of the Role /n /n - As an RN,
conduct detailed clinical assessments and prioritize patient and
family needs. Create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust
plans to reach desired outcomes. /n - Building relationships,
managing discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic
connections with patients and families. /n - Creating care plans
reflecting values aids in resolving issues. /n - You will help
educate patients, families, nurses, and community members. Empower
them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and
document learning needs regularly. /n - Work with colleagues and
community to create a care plan. Delegate tasks carefully and
follow up promptly. /n - You'll use different strategies for
problem-solving with patients, families, and staff. Recognize
limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in
patient care planning and delivery. /n - Achieve goals through

information security, scheduling and payroll systems, electronic

serve. Qualifications - Grad of an Accredited Program - Specialized
field of study should be nursing. - RN license. - Must have BLS
certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this
