Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS and BLS Must-Have:
Previous cardiac experience. Description: Contract RN position in
CVICU for 13 weeks. Shifts are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Nursing
staff will manage a high-acuity patient load. Patient ratios are
1:1 and 1:2, depending on patient acuity. Common procedures include
CABG, valve surgeries, and ECMO management. The unit has a total of
14 beds. There are approximately 13-15 open heart procedures
performed weekly. Candidates must be comfortable problem-solving
independently. The work environment is fast-paced and supportive of
teamwork. High expectations for providing compassionate care. Navy
blue scrubs are required.
