Med-surg, neuro, ortho, rehab, LTACH or long-term care experience
Description: This is a 13-week contract position for a Registered
Nurse specializing in inpatient rehabilitation. The typical shift
is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. No on-call duties are required for this
position. The unit has a total of 64 beds spread across three
floors. There are roughly 130 staff members working within the
unit. Patient ratios are 5:1 during the day and 6:1 at night. The
unit operates with a team structure that includes a charge nurse
and nursing assistants. Candidates must possess experience in
Med-surg, neuro, ortho, rehab, LTACH, or long-term care to be
considered for this role. Preferred candidates will have
proficiency in Meditech. Common procedures performed on the unit
include accuchecks, PEGs, ports, PICCs, trachs, and IVs. Ideal
candidates will be team players, dynamic, helpful, and
patient-focused. The dress code consists of solid navy blue scrubs.
