Experience with cardiac monitoring and rhythms Experience with
titratable drips Understanding of hemodynamics Experience with
respiratory patients: vents, Bipap, trachs, airvo Experience with
open heart surgery recovery Experience with ECMO, Impella, balloon
pumps Experience with CRRT/SLED Description: This is a contract
position for an RN in the ECMO CVICU. The position will be for a
duration of 13 weeks on the day shift. The assignment involves
caring for critically ill patients who require advanced
cardiovascular support. The unit consists of 8 beds with a staff of
25, including charge nurses and registered nurses. Patient ratios
typically are 1:1 or 2:1, depending on acuity. The equipment
utilized includes bedside monitors, IV pumps, ECMO circuits, and
CRRT machines. Candidates must have extensive experience in
managing complex cardiac cases and performing relevant procedures.
It is vital to be a team player with a positive attitude and
adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will be
expected to work weekends as part of their schedule. Navy scrubs
are the required attire. This position offers an opportunity to
