Works with the attending physician and care team. Administers care with quality and excellence, following procedures. Administers cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergencies. /n - Adheres to established policies, including infection control, isolation, HIPAA, time and attendance, and social media. /n - Performs willingly and professionally with peers and patients to maintain the very best work environment and outcomes. /n - Embraces the autonomy to grow and enhance skills such that professional and technical requirements are accomplished. /n - Focuses on continuous quality improvement in all aspects of clinical care. Identifies, executes, and shares opportunities to improve patient care. /n /n Key Success Factors /n /n - General knowledge of Respiratory Care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications. /n - Able to read, write and follow flow chart protocols as appropriate. /n - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. /n - General computer skills, including but not limited to: data entry, information security, electronic medical documentation, hand-held scanning, and email. /n /n Belonging Statement /n We believe that all people should feel welcomed, valued and supported, and that our workforce should be reflective of the communities we serve. /n featurejob0225 QUALIFICATIONS /n /n - EDUCATION - Associate's or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification /n - EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience /n /n CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - /n /n - Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS in 30 days of hire or transfer. /n - Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP): Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). /n - Reg Respiratory Therapist (RRT): Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board Respiratory Care. /n
