Job Description:

An MRI Technologist is a specialized healthcare professional responsible for operating MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) equipment to create diagnostic images prescribed by physicians and radiologists. This position requires a detailed understanding of MRI procedures, patient positioning, safety protocols, and cross-sectional anatomy to help diagnose medical conditions. Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images following exact orders of the physician. Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during the imaging process. Explain MRI procedures to patients, answering any questions they might have and ensuring they are at ease. Adjust and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality. Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures to identify any unusual reactions or events. Assist radiologists with the interpretation of images, providing technical support as needed. Regularly check for updates and improvements in MRI technology and procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and manage scheduling of MRI procedures.
