Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. Why Neuro PCU? This 38-bed telemetry monitored nursing unit provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients. As a Neuro PCU RN, no two days are alike. Staff on this unit practice within the team nursing model and consider teamwork our greatest strength in providing safe, quality, and compassionate patient care. Requirements of the Ideal Candidate: · Graduate of RN School of Nursing · ADN required; BSN preferred · Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas · Preferred 12-18 Months of RN experience, Acute Care or Hospital setting preferred · Basic Life Support (BLS) Required. · Functions competently and effectively under pressure and emergency situations Qualifications Grad of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing.
