Job Title: RN Location: Temple, TX Department: Pediatric Emergency Room Schedule: Full Time –Nights - 36 hours per week (7P-7A) Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's Medical Center - Temple has a 20 bed emergency room designed to address the unique needs of infants, children and adolescents. The emergency department equipped to handle all types of emergencies – from minor sprains and strains to major trauma. American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma has verified Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's as a Level II pediatric trauma center, making it the only pediatric trauma center between Dallas and Austin and the only Pediatric Hospital for Baylor Scott and White. McLane Children’s is also a Magnet designated facility and you are able to obtain TNCC and ENPC certifications during the first year as well as triage trained within the first 2 years. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. What You'll Do You, as an RN, will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes. Qualifications Grad of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing. A current and valid nursing license.
