Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/15/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist with a minimum of 3 years of experience and Level 1 Trauma background for an evening shift role. Responsibilities - Work in a non-invasive cardiology setting providing cardiac ultrasound procedures - Adult patient population in a Level 1 Trauma environment - Performs transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms - Monday through Friday PM shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM - Main responsibilities include performing and interpreting echocardiographic studies, preparing patients and equipment, and assisting physicians during studies - May be required to assist with transesophageal procedures and support in procedure rooms - Team members are expected to act as resources for other staff and assist with quality and accreditation processes - Any solid color scrub set is allowed but must be purchased by the employee - Candidate must live at least 50 miles from the facility; no local travelers accepted - Returning travelers who were previously employed full-time may have additional eligibility checks Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a cardiac sonographer in a hospital or trauma setting - Experience working in a Level 1 Trauma environment is required - Active TX license required if applicable - Current BLS and either RCS or RDCS certification required - Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient - Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season; no exemptions are granted - Two references required for consideration Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-641004.
