The Department of Neurology is seeking a BC/BE Headache Specialist to join our large academic medical center, Baylor Scott & White Medical Center, in Temple, Texas. Fellowship training in Headache Medicine or equivalent experience is required. Position Highlights - Join a large neurology practice and an established headache clinic to work as a headache specialist amongst a team of 3 other headache specialists. - A Division Directorship opportunity is available for those with commensurate experience. - Minimal (desired but optional) inpatient responsibilities and night/weekend call (may involve approximately 1:8 general neurology weekend coverage w/a resident) - The work schedule is Monday-Friday in support of clinic hours and patient care needs. - The position includes opportunities for clinical, teaching and research activities in an academic environment. - Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Temple is a 636- bed acute care Level I trauma center and academic site for Baylor College of Medicine-Temple. - This is an employed position with a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package Benefits: Our competitive benefits package includes: - Immediate eligibility for health and welfare benefits and time off - Excellent time off packing starting with 27 paid vacation days annually - Employer contributed retirement savings - CME reimbursement ($4,200) and paid time off (3 weeks) - Excellent relocation assistance package About Temple, Texas Temple and the surrounding areas have a population of approximately 450,000.
