Position We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a
12-week locum tenens assignment at a Trauma Center in Texas. This
position starts on Jan 5, 2026, and features a 4x24 schedule each
month with both 12-hour and 24-hour shifts. The facility includes a
hospital and an emergency department, serving a diverse patient
population. Job Details Location: Texas Facility Type: Trauma
Center Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 LOA: 12 weeks Provider Type Needed:
Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule: 4x24 monthly/ongoing,
12-hour and 24-hour shifts Responsibilities and Duties Perform all
lifesaving procedures, including intubation, extubation, and
ventilation management Conduct comprehensive history and physical
examinations Respond to and manage emergency codes Provide care for
trauma (5%), pediatric (15%), and geriatric (60%) patients
Collaborate with a staff mix that includes Family Medicine, General
Surgery, and Orthopedic Surgery physicians Utilize laboratory and
radiology (X-ray) support as needed Maintain accurate documentation
within Athenahealth EMR Additional Information Texas medical
license required Trauma experience preferred Ability to manage a
broad range of emergency presentations in a rural hospital setting
