Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/12/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a mobile PET position requiring ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and at least 1 year of recent experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Mobile PET role with travel to an additional facility one day per week - Work is conducted in ambulatory and hospital settings performing nuclear medicine, PET, theranostic, planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT procedures - Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, day shifts - Candidates must be able to work independently and travel is part of the weekly routine - Responsibilities include performing and assessing nuclear medicine and PET procedures, including quality assurance and quality control - Must maintain radiation and patient safety standards and follow appropriate protocols for radiopharmaceuticals - Will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and may assist in training new team members and students - Applicants should have strong communication skills and experience with EMR, PACS, and general computer systems - May be required to take call as needed - Any color scrubs may be worn except denim or inappropriate prints - Role involves caring for a broad age range from newborns to geriatrics /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Current BLS certification from AHA required - ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification is required - Active TX license required if applicable - Flu shot required during flu season with no exemptions granted - Two professional references required for consideration - Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local travelers not accepted /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-650408.
