Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Austin, TX Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Opportunity – RN – CVICU / ECMO Specialist – Central Texas Start Date: January 4, 2026 Location: Austin, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week seasonal contract, no call required. Weekend commitment includes 6 shifts per schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). Highlights: Specialized 8-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit focused on advanced cardiac life support 2:1 or 1:1 patient ratios depending on acuity State-of-the-art technology including Centrimag ECMO circuits, Impella devices (CP & 5.5), CRRT/SLED machines, and intra-aortic balloon pumps Collaborative team of 25 skilled critical care professionals with charge nurse support on every shift Meditech EMR with Alaris IV pumps, GE bedside monitoring, and Pyxis medication system Exposure to complex procedures including open heart surgery recovery, bronchoscopies, tracheostomies, and central line insertions Requirements: Active RN license in Texas or compact state eligibility Critical care experience with cardiac monitoring, advanced rhythm interpretation, and hemodynamic understanding Proven experience with titratable drips and vasoactive medications Competency in managing respiratory interventions: ventilators, BiPAP, tracheostomies, and Airvo therapy Hands-on experience with open heart surgery recovery patients Proficiency with ECMO, Impella devices, balloon pumps, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT/SLED) CVICU charge experience strongly preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced critical care nurse seeking to expand expertise in cutting-edge cardiovascular and ECMO care.
