Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,752 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Austin, Texas, 78704! Job Title: RN - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: CPR Must-Have: Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Respiratory experience in advanced airways, oxygen management Experience with cardiac drips Description: Contract position for RN in Telemetry. This is a 13-week assignment on a night shift, working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The unit features 32 private rooms. Staffing typically includes a Charge Nurse, 7 RNs, 3 Patient Care Technicians, and a Unit Clerk. Patient ratios are 5:1. Equipment utilized includes telemetry monitors and vital sign monitors. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Candidates must possess skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation and respiratory management. Preferred qualifications include ACLS or ALS certification. Typical procedures performed include stress tests, heart catheterizations, CABGs, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube management. Ideal candidates should be team players.
