Job Description:
At Encompass Health Corporation, we merge our legacy of expert,

deliver the highest standard of treatment. We are currently seeking
a dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team, bringing with them a
combination of passion and expertise to aid the recovery and
enhancement of communications for our patients. This role involves
leveraging your skills in a variety of settings, including
inpatient rehabilitation and home health environments, to help
patients regain their ability to speak and understand others.
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication,
cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals
across age groups. Develop treatment plans that are patient-focused
and set realistic and achievable goals. Document patient care and
progress collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Provide
education to patients and family members about communication
disorders and coping strategies. Stay updated with the latest
research and technologies in speech therapy to enhance client care.
In-depth knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic approaches
in speech-language pathology. Ability to handle medical equipment
pertinent to speech therapy. Exceptional communication and
interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and the ability
to manage multiple cases. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Valid state licensure or certification in
Speech-Language Pathology required. Certificate of Clinical
Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) by the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
