Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Austin, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,622 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: RN - Telemetry Profession: RN Specialty: Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Active RN License Certifications: CPR Must-Have: Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation Respiratory Experience - Advanced Airways, Oxygen Management Experience with Cardiac Drips (not titrated) Description: Backfill contract for RN in Telemetry. The position is for 13 weeks. Typical shifts include a Charge Nurse, 7 RNs, 3 PCTs, and a Unit Clerk on Day Shift. Patient ratios are 5:1. Equipped with GE Telemetry, Pyxis, Welch Allen Vital Sign Monitors, and GE B450 Bedside monitors. EMR system used is Meditech. Candidates must be team players. Typical procedures on the unit include stress tests, heart catheterizations, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube management. Every other weekend scheduling is required.
