Opportunity – ECMO/CVICU Registered Nurse – Texas Start Date:
February 23, 2026 Location: Austin, Texas Compensation: Details
provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-week contract, night
shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), no call required. Weekend commitment
includes 6 weekend shifts per schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
Highlights: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with 8 beds and 2:1
or 1:1 patient ratios ECMO experience required – work with advanced
cardiac support technologies including Centrimag ECMO Circuits,
Impella CP and 5.5, and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pumps Exposure to
complex cardiac patients including open heart surgery recovery and
advanced respiratory support Collaborative team environment with
experienced charge nurses and dedicated clinical staff EMR:
Meditech; equipment includes GE bedside monitors, Alaris IV pumps,
Pyxis, Prismax CRRT, and Tablo SLED machines Professional scrub
attire: Navy Requirements: Current RN license in Texas or ability
to obtain ECMO experience required Experience with cardiac
monitoring, rhythm interpretation, and hemodynamic management
Proficiency with titratable drips and vasoactive medications
Experience with respiratory support: ventilators, BiPAP,
tracheostomies, Airvo Open heart surgery recovery experience
CRRT/SLED experience strongly preferred Familiarity with advanced
cardiac support devices including Impella and balloon pumps BLS and
