Date: ASAP About the Position Are you an Anesthesiologist searching
for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of
VISTA's healthcare partners in Texas might be the perfect fit for
you! Opportunity Highlights Schedule: 8-hour shifts required;
10-hour and 12-hour shifts preferred. Day shifts required.
Weeknight on-call (pager), weekend on-call (pager), as needed,
holiday shifts, and holiday call preferred. Overtime not expected
but offered. At least 2 weeks of full-time availability per month
required. Job Setting: Multiple hospital facilities, 30 anesthesia
rooms. Charting systems: iPro, Meditech. Types of Cases: General,
Neuro, Ortho, OB. Broad scope of practice required including
regional anesthesia (including placement of catheters), neuraxial
for both ortho and L&D, and labor epidural management. MDs
supervising CRNAs at 1:4 ratio and doing their own cases. Pediatric
and cardiac anesthesiologists cover subspecialty needs.
Credentialing: 90 days. Credentialing required at all facilities
within the system. Start Date: April 1, 2026 Duration: 24 weeks
Travel: Physicians need to be available to travel to any other
facility within the same day. Travel is not guaranteed but may be
needed. May require travel between facilities while clocked in if
working longer shifts such as 12-hour shifts. Minimum Requirements
Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certification or Fellowship
Required Certifications: Licensure: Texas medical license. Willing
to accept candidates needing to obtain state license. ECFMG and
FLEX. Education: M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of
Medicine. Completion of approved Residency in Anesthesia. About
