Remote (Travis County, TX) Starting Rate: $17.00/hour (based on
experience) Shift: Monday-Friday - 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM CST or 8:00 AM
- 5:00 PM CST (Overtime available as needed) Dean's Professional
Services is actively seeking a Member Advocate I to join a
collaborative care management team supporting member services and
compliance initiatives. This is a fully remote, weekday opportunity
offering long-term stability, growth potential, and the ability to
make a direct impact on healthcare access and service coordination.
Responsibilities: - Act as an advocate for members and serve as a
liaison between the Health Plan and Provider(s) to ensure
availability and access to care - Establish a community presence,
promote member education, and identify and resolve systemic
barriers limiting access to appropriate care - Receive,
investigate, and respond to member complaints and formal grievances
in accordance with established grievance procedures - Identify and
resolve access and cultural sensitivity issues reported by Member
Services staff, state entities, providers, advocacy organizations,
and members - Participate in local community organizations to gain
insight into members' special healthcare needs and assist with
updating educational materials - Serve as a primary point of
contact for member advocacy groups, human services agencies, and
state entities - Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
guidelines Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience - Medicaid
and/or Medicare experience (preferred) - Strong computer
proficiency with the ability to navigate multiple systems -
Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Why
