Job Description Cardiac Electrophysiologist (EP/Device Focus)
Location: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center Temple, TX Start
Date: December 1, 2025 Duration: Up to 6 months (with possible
extensions) Position Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified
Cardiac Electrophysiologist with EP/Pacemaker and device experience
to join the team in Temple, TX. This locums opportunity involves a
mix of inpatient and outpatient coverage , working alongside a
well-established team of 5 MDs and 5 APPs . Schedule & Call
Coverage: 3 4 weeks per month Shifts: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00
PM Weekend Call: Required (rotating) Overtime: Possible on assigned
lab days due to add-ons Practice Setting: Inpatient Outpatient EMR:
Epic Requirements BC in Electrophysiology (device experience
required) Active TX license (preferred) or IMLC accepted DEA
required Must meet full eligibility verification (no restrictions,
clean background, no disciplinary actions, etc.) Immunization
compliance drug screen required Credentialing Timeline: 135 days
(must complete full board approval with both hospital medical
group) Temporary Privileges: May be considered only after committee
review for urgent patient needs
