Job Description:
Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is
seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology Tech to
join our innovative team in transforming healthcare through
state-of-the-art technologies and personalized patient care. In
this role, you will be part of a dynamic team committed to
enhancing patient outcomes through the latest interventional
imaging techniques. You will have the unique opportunity to work in

advanced interventional radiologic procedures under the direction
of a qualified physician. Prepare patients physically and
emotionally for examinations, explaining procedures and ensuring
comfort and safety at all times. Operate and maintain all imaging
technology efficiently, adhering to safety protocols to minimize
radiation exposure to patients and staff. Work closely with
radiologists to evaluate images and assist in the real-time
adjustment of procedures. Document procedural notes and other
relevant patient data in the electronic medical record system.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and
share insights regarding patient imaging results. Contribute to
quality control and improvement measures to ensure the highest
standards of radiology practice. Strong technical proficiency in
using interventional radiology equipment and technology. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with
patients, families, and medical staff. Critical thinking skills and
the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and precision in conducting and evaluating
complex imaging procedures. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a
Radiologic Technologist (RT) with the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additional certification in
Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) preferred.
