Assist the occupational therapist in evaluating the patient's functional status and occupational therapy needs, and help develop the treatment plan Implement occupational therapy interventions, as directed by the occupational therapist, to achieve patient goals Document patient progress and response to therapy, ensuring timely communication with the occupational therapist Educate patients and families on home exercises and adaptive strategies for daily living Maintain professionalism in all aspects of patient care, adhering to required healthcare and safety regulations Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of therapeutic practices and techniques Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from occupational therapists Proficiency in documentation and patient care software systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of practice
