Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses Set up sterile surgical fields, prepare surgical equipment and help with patient positioning Ensure all equipment functions properly before and during the surgical procedure Maintain a sterile environment to prevent contamination Assist in stock control and management of surgical supplies and equipment Proficient in setting up and managing surgical equipment Strong knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Capability to respond quickly and accurately under stressful conditions Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential BLS Certification is required Certification in cardiovascular technology is a plus
