Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVOR - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Cardiovascular Surgery Job Details: • Work four 10-hour shifts per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM • On-call requirements include one weeknight per week and one weekend every 6 weeks • CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) experience required • Maintain 1:1 patient ratios • Work with specialized surgical equipment including bovie cautery, EVH video tower, laparoscopic video tower, surgical tourniquet, IABP console, Impella console, cryo system, and patient warming/cooling system • Use Meditech EMR system • Participate in procedures including CABG, Aortic/Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement, AAA Endovascular & Open, AV Fistula creation/revision/thrombectomy, HDC, CAPD, BBT, TAVR, TMVR, and MitraClip • Scrubs provided by facility • Must demonstrate mature, teamwork-oriented personality with schedule flexibility • Expected to maintain good attendance and punctuality • 13-week contract assignment Facility: This specialized cardiac facility focuses exclusively on cardiovascular procedures and cardiac care. The cardiovascular operating room is located on the first floor of the main hospital building and maintains high standards for patient care with 1:1 nursing ratios.
