Profiles will include location, number of beds, patient rations, and other unique details to assist recruiting professional in effectively and efficiently identifying highly qualified staff. Data Collection: Unit Information: Pediatric ICU Location: PICU Building: North Austin Medical Center- Children s Hospital Floor: 1st Order Detail: Facility Department Number: 64581 Discipline: PICU Quantity: 1 Target Start Date: ASAP Shift: Day 6:45a-7pm Call Requirements: None Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds 6 Number of Staff 13 total, typically 2 3 nurses per shift Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 charge RN and 1 PICU RN o Night Shift - 1 charge RN and 1 PICU RN Patient Ratios 2 ICU pts: 1 RN, 1 ICU/2 IMC:1 RN, 1 ICU and 2MS: 1 RN Type of equipment Alaris IV pumps, Vents EMR Meditech Permanent Positions on Unit Avaliable? PALS, BLS Previous PICU experience- vents, drips Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. NICU experience 1-2 years PICU experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): HFNC/patients with respiratory illnesses EMU seizure monitoring Variety of PICU diagnosis, no endocrine service, no ecmo, no trauma services (level 4 trauma) Best personality Fit: Team-player, flexible Positive, open for feedback Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
