Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is seeking a proficient and caring CT Scan Technologist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be a key player in our mission to enhance community health by utilizing cutting-edge technology and personalized care. You will operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce images of a patient's internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. With Ascension, you will be part of a network that values innovation and compassionate care, dedicated to transforming healthcare in our communities. Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images and adjusting the equipment settings to improve image quality. Work closely with radiologists to determine the appropriate imaging techniques and protocols to ensure accurate diagnosis. Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly. Maintain patient records and imaging documentation, adhering to HIPAA regulations and facility protocols. Participate in quality control checks and maintenance of the CT equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Assist in the training of new staff and provide input for technological improvements and upgrades. Proficient in CT imaging procedures and protocols Strong understanding of cross-sectional human anatomy Ability to handle complex technology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with a CT certification Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
