Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. An Occupational Therapist position is available for a full-time role providing services to K-12 students in a school setting located in Lansing, MI. This travel opportunity offers a caseload of approximately 40 center-based students with significant needs, aged 3 to 26 years. Collaboration with another full-time onsite OT will support a team approach to addressing student needs. Key responsibilities include evaluating and delivering occupational therapy services tailored to diverse student requirements, implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to optimize student outcomes. This role demands strong communication skills and the ability to adapt therapeutic interventions to support academic and functional success for each student. Qualifications: Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license is required. Prior experience working in school settings is highly preferred. Certification in occupational therapy must be current and valid. Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other healthcare professionals. Commitment to supporting students with significant functional needs within an educational environment.
