Job Description:
HCA Healthcare seeks an experienced Nurse Manager for the
Postpartum unit during evening shifts, ensuring exceptional care
and managing the activities of the nursing staff. This role
requires skill in both leadership and clinical nursing to support
our mission in providing excellent patient care. Supervising the
nursing staff and overseeing the patient care processes to ensure
compliance with established standards. Developing and implementing
policies and procedures that enhance patient care and foster a safe
environment. Managing staffing schedules, including recruitment,
training, and performance evaluation of personnel. Facilitating
effective communication across multidisciplinary teams to improve
patient outcomes. Budget management for the postpartum unit.
Monitoring patient care and making adjustments as necessary to
improve quality and safety. Strong leadership skills and ability to
motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of postpartum care and procedures. Ability to
manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Basic Life
Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (C-OB) preferred.
