Job Title: RN - Telemetry Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support Must-Have: Candidates must possess Med/Surg experience. Description: This position is for a backfill contract role in a telemetry unit. The role requires the candidate to work on a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. On-call duties are required. The unit has a total of 34 beds and provides modified total patient care. The patient population includes general medical/surgical patients and surgical oncology patients. Age considerations range from young adults to geriatric patients. The unit is equipped to maintain 24-hour cardiac telemetry monitoring. The typical staff includes charge nurses, registered nurses, and patient care technicians. Patient-to-nurse ratios are approximately 1:6. Candidates must be chemotherapy certified to perform specific chemotherapy procedures. Outgoing and team-oriented individuals will fit best within the unit's culture.
