Tri-Supply Temple, Tx is looking to fill its Information Technology Supervisor role. This position is best suited for someone who has first-hand experience and is ready to move from an experienced system administration or technician role to managing and directing a small team of information technology operations staff. The is a hands-on leadership role where you will work side by side with the IT team while managing overall operations. Starting pay negotiable based on experience.Leadership team committed to resources.In a corporate world, locally-owned matters.Skills and Experience Needed:5 years' experience in management of information systemsMust be able to communicate with the executive team in a way to convey project needs for the information systems.Knowledge of communication and network designKnowledge of computer networks, hardware, and software applicationsKnowledge of computer applications development and implementationKnowledge of M365, Azure, Connect Wise, Tanium, Palo Alto Cortex XDR, MFA, and SIEM's of benefit.Recognize benefits of cloud services and how best to implement themExperience in Cyber Security of benefit.Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsDuties OverviewProvide direction, guidance, and training to IT staff.Develop, manage, and track the IT department's annual budget.Oversee security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.Work with vendors and purchasing to ensure fair pricing.Coordinate and supervise the use of outside consultants, their scope of work and evaluate their effectiveness on the operations.Serve as Project Manager for technology implementation on all construction projects. This includes writing RFP's, negotiating contracts, and holding vendors accountable for fulfilling agreements.Some travel to other work locations throughout Texas periodically required.Regularly communicate overall infrastructure status and improvement proposals with leadership team.Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss to ensure integrity of information, security of databases, and internal network access control.Establish efficiency and efficacy standards, providing recommendations for improvement of IT infrastructure, including but not limited to: PC's, laptops, servers, printers, networks, and telecommunication needs within the company.Assess IT operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.Perform system administrator duties for Network and Server infrastructure, Active Directory, workstations, patching, software deployment, and other system environments.Manage and configure components installed on the Windows servers.Review and develop automatic deployment rules for Microsoft Security patches monthly or as required to comply with company security standards for all devices.Review and improve antivirus/antimalware policies.Create documentation, user guides and provide training related to IT activities.Analyze computer logs to identify issues and recommend plans to implement solutions.Oversee IT security audits and investigations.Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.Maintain and support mobile device fleet through use of mobile device management system.Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate mediaEnsure maintenance for network servers such as domain controllers, file servers, and other application servers.Maintain general company-wide IT policies and procedures, password security, and training for safe computing.Implement and manage ticketing system (Meister Task or SharePoint) for help desk tracking and monitoring IT department efficiency.Our company has been shaping leaders in our industry since 1958.
