Job Description Job Description A global and top 200 Am Law firm
seeks an associate to join their Privacy and Cybersecurity practice
in their Austin office. The ideal candidate must have 2-7 years of
experience to address privacy, data processing, and cybersecurity
issues in the context of technology transactions and corporate
transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public offerings
and other capital markets transactions, e-commerce agreements, and
other commercial transactions. Experience with technology
industries, issues lying at the intersection of government
regulation and technology, or FTC policy and enforcement regarding
privacy and cybersecurity issues is desirable. Experience with
M&A, capital markets, technology transactions, or other
transactional work is preferred. CIPP certification is a plus.
Superior academic credentials and excellent verbal, written, and
interpersonal skills are required.
