2021 Manufacturing Development Program (Various Locations)

Program is offered at locations across the US. Applicants can select preferred locations during application process

Manufacturing Development Program (MDP) participants gain first-hand experience across a broad range of functions and departments. Throughout this 15-month rotational program, participants will be a crucial member of the manufacturing team with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the business by sharing innovative ideas with team members and leadership. The final six months in the program are spent as a supervisor in order to fully understand the scope of a leadership role and its importance to the plant's overall performance. Following the MDP, participants will be ready to take on a leadership role at a Niagara plant location.

Essential Functions

Rotate through all areas of the manufacturing plant to gain an understanding of department challenges and opportunities. Participate in cross-departmental continuous improvement projects. Collaborate with leadership and fellow team members to identify solutions. Drive projects for improvement to increase plant performance. Participate in learning sessions focused on professional skills development. Act as a department supervisor for final six months of the program owning daily tasks of the role, making key decisions, and supporting direct reports. Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing related field
