Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. Schedule: Full Time - 3p-3a 36 hours per weekUnit SummaryBusy ER in level One Trauma Hospital -Certified Chest Pain and Stroke CenterOur Registered Nurse (RN) staff are proficient in Stroke and STEMI activations and established care guidelinesThis is a fast-paced ER environment whose success is dependent on teamwork. We have 50 exam rooms and 6 trauma baysRNs work closely with ED Providers, Social Workers, Registration, etc. because we are truly in it together!The Emergency department primarily cares for adult populations, but we do care for pediatric patients as needed.Registered Nurses (RN) can be involved in Improvement projects, Shared Governance, department committees and councils.
