The result will be a broader, more powerful, international company that serves customers across the entire supply chain, from wholesalers, to retailers, and every stop in between.DepartmentThe HR Generalist is part of the Global Human Resources Team.Role & ResponsibilitiesServes as primary HR point of contact within the Temple office; working often with other HR team members to meet the needs of the organizationOwn full cycle recruiting activities for multiple roles, across all functional areas, using creative sourcing strategies to find the best talent for each roleDevelop and implement recruiting plans and strategies designed to fulfill PDI’s staffing needsCollaborate closely with hiring managers throughout the recruiting process to ensure you meet their hiring needs and goalsLeads the onboarding process including new hire preparation, orientation and setup to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to employeeResponsible for driving employee engagement and building an enticing place for new recruits and existing employeesReceives and responds to employee requests concerning HR policies, procedures, and processes; appropriately routing requests and working cross functionally with Payroll and other support functions to resolve open issues in a timely fashionCollaborates with the HR business partners regarding employee matters; escalating new issues originating onsite as needed Directs the off-boarding employees as needed, including notifying stakeholders of departing employees, completing exit interview and insuring correct payment and paperwork has been completed and filedWorks with the site leader and office manager in creating a compelling environment for our high performing teamsSkills & RequirementsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience 4-6+ years of professional exposure in an HR departmentProficient with Microsoft applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookHR Systems experience preferred; ADP WorkforceNow and ADP payrollProven experience in demonstrating high levels of reliability and professional conductSkills in exercising initiative, sound judgement, discretion, decision making, and organizational skills to achieve assigned goalsMust be able to work independently as well as a part of the larger Human Resources departmentMust be able to maintain confidentialityComfortable with prioritizing and multi-tasking in a fluid, high volume environmentPDI’s employee-oriented culture provides a supportive and dynamic work environment for high achievers.
