JOB SUMMARY

The TMS Technician delivers TMS therapy to patients and provides a safe and therapeutic environment for daily treatment sessions. The TMS Technician also performs office administrative tasks such as reporting statistical activity to center manager, scheduling appointments, collecting copays, and handling all medical records in compliance with HIPAA.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Delivers TMS Therapy to patients by placing device with an electromagnetic - coil near the patients left - prefrontal cortex while an electric current is passed through this part of the brain causing neurons in the brain -to send electrical impulses.

Provides educational consultations to interested patients.

Performs office administrative tasks such as, reporting statistical activity to center manager, scheduling - appointments, collecting copays, and handling all medical records in compliance with HIPAA.

Ensures all clinically significant findings are appropriately documented and triaged to the appropriate physician - -in a timely manner. In addition, monitor that the reports are also routed to the industry technical device representative.

Ensures the department is following clinic compliance and risk management standards, monitor all device - recalls, advisories and patient alerts.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE - A minimum of 1 year experience required

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 3 Months.
