Job Summary
PDI is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions and fixed assets. - This position will report to the AP Manager.
Responsibilities

• 
  
• 
  Review and verify invoices and check requests
  
  
• 
  Sort, code and match invoices -for payment
  
  
• 
  Process expense reports
  
  
• 
  Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
  
  
• 
  Prepare and perform check runs
  
  
• 
  Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  
  
• 
  Reconcile accounts payable transactions
  
  
• 
  Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  
  
• 
  Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  
  
• 
  Maintain vendor files and prepare analysis of accounts
  
  
• 
  Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
  
  
• 
  Produce monthly reports -and a ssist with month end closing
  
  
• 
  Provide supporting documentation for audits

    Convenience store or retail experience is a plus

    Bachelor's in business, Accounting, or equivalent experience

    This role will offer a starting compensation of $16.00/HR, EOE.
