Plumbing Superintendent
Location: Austin, TX
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Pay rate: $28-42/hour DOE
An HVAC maintenance and mechanical company in the Austin area is looking for the best and brightest in the market to join their team. The Plumbing Superintendent be responsible for supervising work performed on systems ranging in difficulty from small basic commercial installations to large complex projects involving multiple plumbing systems. In addition, the Superintendent assist in administering the company safety program and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
As A Member of This team:

Supervise multiple foremen
Schedule projects and meet deadlines
Work along with other workers and set the pace
Communicate and interact with employees and clients professionally
Maintain a current knowledge, and answer questions of other workers on procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives (for example, technical orders)
Assure that safety and housekeeping rules are followed
Communicate with Foremen on status and progress of work, and causes of work delays

You Will Need:

Minimum of 8 years' verifiable experience in plumbing trade
Minimum of 3 years' verifiable supervisory experience
Valid Drivers License is required
Thorough knowledge of plumbing blueprints, specifications and codes
Thorough knowledge of other major craft blueprints
Thorough knowledge of all plumbing systems, from domestic water to medical gas
Ability to supervise multiple employees
Ability to schedule projects and meet deadline
Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without mechanical devices
Familiarity with safety hazards and corrective action while avoiding injury
